Several Problems can occur when the prostate gland, the most common being an enlarged prostate (Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia). An estimated 50% of 50 year old men and 75% of 70 year old men suffer from an enlarged prostate. A change in hormones can cause an overproduction of prostate cells, which ultimately result in prostate enlargement.

Symtoms include, frequent and increased urination (especially at night), lessening of the force of flow and an accompanying burning sensation.
